Sheriff's Department - History

2003 - Present Danny L. Glick

Sheriff Glick has worked his entire 25+ year career in Laramie County with the Sheriff's Department, starting his career in July of 1981 as a patrol deputy.

In 1985 Sheriff Glick was promoted to the detective division. In 1987 he was transferred to the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigations, working drug investigations for two (2) years.

In 1989 Sheriff Glick transferred back to the Sheriff's Department, working in detectives, general investigations until 1990, when he transferred back to patrol duties.

Sheriff Glick worked his way up through the ranks from Corporal to Sergeant and eventually, under the Barrett Administration, attaining the rank of Lieutenant.

In November of 2002, Sheriff Glick was elected Sheriff of Laramie County.

Sheriff Glick has over 2000 hours of law enforcement training and has several credit hours towards his Associates degree from LCCC (Laramie County Community College).
