Laramie County Government is seeking to fill a Grants Specialist position within the Grants Department. This position is responsible for carrying out grant functions to include grant reimbursement requests, revenue and expenditures and reports. This includes working closely with the Accounting Office to coordinate timely payments, maintaining proper records and assisting the Grants Manager with various reports and data analysis. Qualified candidates will have an Associates degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field and three years grants experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Position: Motor Vehicle Registration Representative

Starting Pay: $14.17

This position is in a fast paced and high customer volume office and is responsible for performing various motor vehicle registration functions and quality customer service to our residents. Under direct supervision, Motor Vehicle Registration Representatives examine and evaluate all required vehicle registrations documentation in accordance with Federal/State laws and departmental procedures to issue license plates and registrations.

Qualified candidates also examine and evaluate documents required for vehicle sales tax collection in compliance with State law, regulations and departmental procedures. Knowledge of loan documents and of Auto Dealers is valuable. Applicants must have cash handling experience. At times this position may be required to move or lift boxes containing license plates. These boxes weight approximately 40 lbs. Qualified candidates will have high school diploma or equivalent; and one year customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience and must be proficient with typing and using a calculator. They must also be bondable.
