The Grants
Department Purpose
The
Grants Department is a vital member of the Laramie
County Government and Laramie County. The department’s
purpose is to promote the goals of Laramie County
Government and the county community through identification
of needs, pursuit of funding and efficient management
of grant funds. The Department serves as the centralized
location for grant and project management activity
that includes the following functions:

and Inventory of Needs for the Laramie County
Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)
To develop the annual CIP, all Elected Officials
and Department Managers are surveyed. Through this
process, projects estimated to exceed $50,000 are identified
and the Commissioners prioritize the projects. Following
a public comment period, the Commissioners adopt the
annual CIP at a regularly scheduled public meeting.
