BOARD OF HEALTH SUMMARY REPORT

HOME LOAN / SEPTIC PROGRAM:

New loan inspections evaluated were two (02).
Pre-Existing Loan inspections evaluated were sixteen (16), an increase in loans of eight (08) year to date from January 2009.
Residential septic permits issued were one (01).
Commercial septic permits issued were zero (00).
Repair septic permits issued were zero (00), a decrease of four (04) year to date from January 2009.
Septic inspections were four (04), a decrease of eight (08) year to date from January 2009.

ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT:

Plats, Subdivisions, Zone Changes and Variances Reviews:
Staff reviewed nine (09) Cheyenne and Laramie County Site Plans.

FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM:

Food Service Establishment Plan Reviews:

Bed & Breakfast Inspections: 0

COMMUNICABLE DISEASE INVESTIGATION:

Staff investigated (2) communicable disease reported cases.

SWIMMING POOLS:

Staff inspected one (1) swimming pool, spa, or similar installation in January.

PLAGUE:

No plague activity for the year.

MASSAGE & BODY ART:

Staff inspected no massage or body art establishments for the month of January.  One (1) massage therapist was licensed in the month of January.

AGENCY MEETINGS:

  • Gary Hickman attended:  Staff (4), Division Directors (3), EPI Rounds, County Planning Commission, County Planning Meeting, HAPPI, County Commissioners Agenda, City Planning, County Commissioners, H1N1, City Council, County 201 Meeting, CAG and Division Quarterly Staff Meeting.
  • Roy Kroeger attended:  Staff (4), Division Directors (3), Wellness Committee (2), Division Quarterly Staff, Wellness Kickoff, NEHA / HRSA Conference Call and Department Budget Meeting.
  • Beth Harris attended:  Staff (4), Risk Assessment, Division Quarterly Staff and Wellness Kickoff Meeting.
  • Terri Leichtweis attended:  Division Quarterly Staff, Superday, Staff (4), Risk Assessment, WEHA / AEC, City and Wellness Meeting.
  • Jennifer Escobedo attended:  Quarterly Staff, Staff (4), Risk Assessment and EPI Meeting.

STAFF DEVELOPMENT:

  • Amie Merwin attended the Pesticide Recertification Class in Casper Wyoming.

 

WATER:
Approximately (151) water samples were drawn for January.  (151) were satisfactory.  (0) were unsatisfactory. 

WESTNILE VIRUS:

Communicated with aerial pilot on next season activities.

FIREWORKS:

No firework stands inspected for this month.
