Pools
Our mission in the Swimming Pool Program is to protect the health and wellness
of the public using pools, spas and similar installations in Laramie County.
The Division of Environmental Health provides the following services within
the Swimming Pool Program:
- Permitting
and inspections of all commercial swimming pools, spas,
swim beaches and similar installations.
- Training
for employees operating swimming pools, spas and similar
installations.
- Plan
reviews, approvals and inspections of all new or remodeled
swimming pools, spas or similar installations.
All
swimming pools, spas and similar installations are required
to submit plans prior to the start of construction or
changing any pump, filter, heater or disinfection device.
