This provides general services on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday from 10:00 – 12:00 by a Public Health Nurse or Nurse Practitioner
Health Information and Referral
Health questions and concerns can be discussed with a Public Health Nurse or Nurse Practitioner and referral to Agencies and Programs can be made as appropriate. No appointment needed. You can call or walk in between 10:00 –12:00 Monday through Friday.

Health Nurses will be provide screening for strep throat.
If appropriate, strep testing may be provided. If a client
tests positive they are to seek treatment with their personal
physician.

Pressure Checks
Blood
Pressure checks can be taken during On-Call Clinic.

Tuberculosis
Screening (TB)
TB Screening
is done on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
No appointment is needed. Results are read 48 – 72
hours later during the same time.

Screening Due to Exposure
If TB screening is to be done due to an exposure, to someone with active
TB, please call a Communicable Disease Nurse. Call 633-4000 and ask for a
Communicable Disease Nurse. The TB screening for exposure is free.

Screening for Employment
TB Screening for employment is done during the On-Call time of 10:00 a.m. – 11:30
a.m. on a walk in basis. Screening is read 48-72 hours later, and at that
time written documentation of the screening is provided for your employer.
The TB test for employment is $15.00
