Temporary Position
Laramie County is seeking a temporary full-time District Court Specialist for a 6 month assignment. This position is responsible for a variety of clerical functions, including filing, answering phones, processing court paperwork and data-entry. Candidates should have a High School Diploma; two years clerical experience in a legal or court setting; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated experience dealing with confidential information, money handling and high volume data-entry. Starting pay is $14.00 per hour. Laramie County
Laramie County is seeking an Executive Assistant for their Planning/Development Department. Candidates should have an Associate’s Degree; three years of administrative support experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with permits, planning and/or zoning and strong demonstrated experience with MS Office applications. The hiring pay range is $2,645-$3,112 per month. 12030 Emergency Communications Dispatcher
Emergency Communication Dispatchers provide 9-1-1 and dispatch services to Laramie County. The Center runs a 24/7 operation handling an average of 6000 emergency service calls and 26,000 administrative calls per month. Employees are required to work rotating shifts, weekend and holidays. Applicants must be 18 years old with HS diploma/GED and able to pass a written exam, background check and polygraph examination. Dispatchers are required to obtain, within 24 months of hire, dispatcher certification through the Wyoming Peach Officer Standard and Training (P.O.S.T). Entry level salary is $2645.00 per month with benefits. Pre-employment drug test and criminal background report required.
13050 DEPUTY SHERIFF - DETENTION DEPUTY - Sheriff's Department
Opportunities exist for initial entry, beginning at $2,958.97 per month; and for lateral entry beginning at a minimum of $3,033.51 per month.
