The “valuation” is the cost of the project. If the homeowner is performing the work themselves, the valuation will still need to include a fair labor price as well as the materials. If the homeowner is doing some of the work and having contractors doing some work, include the materials + labor for homeowner and the bids from the contractor to come up with the valuation.
Another way to think about valuation is a fair insurance replacement cost.
The applicable fees are to be submitted with the application. We gladly accept cash and checks for payment. Please make your checks payable to The Laramie County Treasurer.
Please contact our office (307) 633-4512 so that we may calculate your fees if your valuation is greater than $100,000.00
