This website
has three uses:
1. It can
be used to view property tax history for the last three years.
2. It can
be used to calculate interest due on an installment for a
future date.
3. It can
be used to pay your current year of property tax online using
a credit/debit card or an electronic check (E-check). Credit Card fees may apply. Click here for fee schedule.
For any
of the above uses you will need your Local Number from your
tax bill and the Tax Year. Property is assessed on a calendar
year. However, the collection of taxes begins September 1st
and runs through the following August. This year of collection
is known as a "Tax Year".
First,
you will enter the Tax Year and the Local Number and click
on the submit button. The next screen displays the corresponding
property information for the Local Number that you just entered.
This information will include the owner of record, the property
location, and the legal description. On the left side you
will see three options to choose from. They are:

Making
a payment is easy. After entering the local number for the
property you intend to pay, click on submit. The bottom of
the next page displays the two installments. There will be
an open box next to the installments that are unpaid.
Click on the box next to the installment you wish to pay
(or both) and submit. The screen will return with a confirmation
page displaying what was selected and the total payment amount.
Next, select the payment method from the choices - Electronic
Check or Credit/Debit Card. (An Electronic check is treated
much the same as a written check at your bank.) Upon either
selection you will be taken to the Official Payments Corp.
where you will input the appropriate payment data - bank
routing and account numbers in the case of electronic check
and credit card number and expiration date in the case of
credit or debit card. Upon completion of the payment you
can print a copy of the transaction. We suggest you do print
a copy for your records. Please call 633-4225 if you need
assistance.
