Brenda's Bio
Brenda Arnold is a Cheyenne native. She began working in the Assessor’s office in 1988 and was elected Assessor in January 1995. Ms. Arnold is a Certified Wyoming Property Tax Appraiser and is accredited by the International Association of Assessing Officers. She is a past president of the Wyoming County Assessors Association and the Wyoming Association of County Officers. She serves as chair of the legislative committee and the Wyoming CAMA users group for the Assessors Association.
Ms. Arnold is dedicated to the development and expanded use of GIS in all aspects of government. She was instrumental in the creation of the Cheyenne – Laramie County Cooperative GIS partnership, currently serves as a member on the GIS Executive committee, and has been a past chair. Ms. Arnold was recently appointed by Governor Freudenthal to serve on the newly created statewide GIS Oversight committee. She has two children and three grandchildren.
