Directs the HR operations and activities for Laramie County – approx. 380 employees; provides advice and counsel to staff and management; generalist duties including policy, recruitment, classification and compensation, benefits, training, records, regulatory compliance. Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Public or Bus. Admn; and 7 years professional HR program management experience; OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Operation of a variety of vehicles, equipment and heavy equipment related to public works activities through Laramie County including trucks, loaders, dozers, blades, snow plows; may operate rock crushing equipment; general construction labor in support of Public Works activities including general cleanup, operation and safe use of related equipment and tools. Class A CDL with good record; criminal background and drug testing required.

Operation of a variety of vehicles, equipment and heavy equipment related to public works activities throughout Laramie County including trucks, loaders, dozers, blades, snow plows; may operate rock crushing equipment. HS or equiv; and 2 years related experience, or equivalent; Class A CDL with good record; criminal background and drug testing required. OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
SEASONAL LABOR/MOWER
Laramie County Public Works, $10.74/hour, four ten-hour days, may be Monday through Thursday or Wednesday through Saturday schedule, working 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Various maintenance and labor duties; may include working on road and other projects, asphalt, striping crews, etc. or may be operating mowers and trimmers and other ground maintenance tools and equipment in grounds maintenance. Requirements: Drivers License with good record, at least 18 years of age, and pre-employment drug test.

Full time, starting range $2,645 – $3,112/month plus benefits, shift work. Under supervision, monitors operations, traffic and alarms in the Detention Facility to maintain safety and security of staff, inmates, visitors and facilities. HS or equivalent; must pass thorough background investigation, complete a minimum of 280 hours of operational training after hire; may be required to successfully complete a polygraph, psychological, and physical or stress test prior to hire; pre-employment drug test.
