PUBLIC NOTICE. Notice is hereby given that on November 30, 2018, the Laramie County Board of Commissioners in compliance with W.S. 9-1-507 (j) (ii), received notice from the State of Wyoming, Department of Audit that the following special districts within Laramie County failed to comply with the financial reporting requirements of W.S. 9-1-507 (a)(vii): Dieke Estates I&S District, Laramie County Juvenile Services, Laramie County Tourism JPB (Visit Cheyenne),School Risk Retention JPB. The Laramie County Treasurer shall withhold distribution of money to these districts until the department of Audit certifies to the County Treasurer that the district has complied with the reporting requirements. Failure of these district to comply with the financial reporting requirements by December 31, 2018, will result in the Laramie County Board of Commissioners seeking to dissolve the special district in accordance with W.S. 22-29-401 et seq and any other provisions for dissolution in the principal act for a special district.
LARAMIE COUNTY PRIMARY ELECTION TEMPORARY RELOCATION OF STOREY GYM VOTE CENTER
The Clerk and Chief Election Officer of Laramie County Wyoming having been notified that Primary Election Vote Center Storey Gym, located at 2811 House Avenue in Cheyenne, remains under construction and will not be available for voting on Primary Election Day, Aug. 21, 2018, has designated a temporary vote center. The Clerk informs the public that the Auditorium of Laramie County School District #1 Administration Building, located at 2810 House Ave., in Cheyenne has been selected as the temporary Vote Center for the August 21, 2018, Primary Election, replacing Storey Gym. Polls will open at 7:00 a.m. on August 21, 2018, and will remain open until 7:00 p.m. at this location on the day of the Primary Election.
The location meets the requirements of federal and state accessibility requirements.
